I love when you talk about your crazy exes
and I love that you have a dark past
I love how you care about what others think
and I love that you're really shy
I love when you can't make simple decisions
and I love that you don't like to cry
I love how insanely jealous you get
and I love when you make fun of other people
I love that you're afraid to let me in
and I love how easy you are to tickle
What I love more than anything though
is how no matter what you do
in my eyes you're quite perfectly imperfect
and I think I've fallen in love with you

I wrote this at the beginning of a new relationship with a guy I'd like for many years. Unfortunately, it came to be that I never actually did fall in love with him, though I thought I had for a short time.
For once, I'm satisfied with the title!! lol, actually, the title came to me one day, and I decided to write a poem based on it. Worked rather nicely, I think!! (zk) |
